1. NSP Scholarship for Polytechnic Students:-



NSP- National Scholarship Portal is a Government scholarship portal where students can apply for scholarships from state and central governments, where University Grants Commission, All India Council for Technical Education, and other government agencies students can apply on this portal.

Polytechnic students can apply for different AICTE, Central, and state schemes as their eligibility. Polytechnic Diploma  Students can apply for the NSP Scholarship. You can apply for this scholarship online.

2. NEC Merit Scholarship- North Eastern Council:-

NEC merit scholarship for a Diploma in engineering and professional courses. Students fulfilling the eligibility criteria of the scheme guidelines of the NEC Merit Scholarship of the Ministry of DoNER are eligible to apply for these scholarships.

3. State Engineering & Technological Merit Scholarship:-

State Engineering & Technological Merit Scholarship for engineering students of Diploma, Degree, P.G., M.E., and M.Tech can apply for this scholarship. State Engineering & Technological Merit Scholarship advertisement is published by the month of October every year. 

Polytechnic students can apply for this scholarship. This scholarship online application is open till the middle of November.

State Engineering & Technological Merit Scholarship application online. After applying online the hard copy of the application along with all required documents are submitted to the head of the institutions.


4. Post Matric Scholarship

Post-Matric Scholarship scheme for students studying from Class 11th, 12th, and above including Courses like ITI, Diploma, B.SC, B. Com., B. Tech, Medical /students studying top-level colleges such as IITs and IIMs/ students doing Technical and Professional courses, etc.




This scholarship is available for studies in India only and is awarded by the Government of the State to which the applicant actually belongs. 5. ISHAN UDAY - Special Scholarship Scheme For North Eastern Region

ISHAN UDAY - Special Scholarship Scheme For North Eastern Region for Students. Polytechnic students can apply for this scholarship.  Secured admission in the first year of any degree course, either general degree course technical, Diploma course, Professional, Medical, or Paramedical Course (Integrated courses included) in any University, College, or Institute.

6. Post-Matric Scholarships Scheme for Minorities

The scholarship is to be awarded for studies in India in a government or private higher secondary school/college/university, including such residential institutes of the Government and eligible private institutes selected and notified in a transparent manner by the State Government/Union Territory Administration concerned. 

It will also cover technical and vocational courses in Industrial Training Institutes/ Industrial Training Centers affiliated with the National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT) of classes XI and XII level including Polytechnics and other courses.

7. Pragati Scholarship Scheme for Girl Students

The female candidate should be admitted to the First year of the Diploma level course OR the Second year of the Diploma level course in any of the AICTE-approved institutions of the respective year. A maximum of two girls children per family are eligible.

Family income from all sources should not be more than Rs. 8 lakh per annum during the current financial year. A valid income certificate issued by the State/ UT Government needs to be enclosed. 


8. Saksham Scholarship Scheme for Specially-abled Student 

The candidate should be admitted to the First year of a Diploma level course OR the Second year of a Diploma level course in any of the AICTE-approved institutions of the respective year. 

Specially-abled students have a disability of not less than 40%. Family income from all sources should not be more than Rs. 8 lakh per annum during the current financial year. A valid income certificate issued by the State/UT Government needs to be enclosed.


9. Merit Cum Means Scholarship For Professional and Technical Courses


The objective of the Scheme is to provide financial assistance to the poor and
meritorious students belonging to minority communities to enable them to pursue
professional and technical courses.

The scholarship is to be awarded for studies in India in a Government or private
institution, selected and notified in a transparent manner by the State
Government/Union Territory Administration concerned. It will cover technical and
professional courses at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. 

The scholarship will be awarded to the students who have secured not less than 50% marks or equivalent grades in the previous final examination and the annual income of whose parents/guardians from all sources do not exceed Rs.2.50 lakh.
