Scholarship for Goa Polytechnic Students
The objective of this scholarship scheme is to provide financial assistance to the ST students of Goa studying post-matriculation or post-secondary stages to enable them to complete their education. This scholarship is open only to a student who is a permanent resident of Goa.
Name of Scholarship: Centrally Sponsored Scheme of Post-Matric Scholarship for ST Students - Goa.
Academic Year: 2022-23.
Eligibility for: Centrally Sponsored Scheme of Post-Matric Scholarship for ST Students - Goa.
#Courses:
The scholarship shall be admissible to students who get admission in Diploma, Polytechnic Diploma, Degree, Post-graduate, or registration in M.Phil. / Ph.D. courses of any institute recognized by the Government.
#Family Income:
The scholarship shall be admissible to the students whose parent's annual income from all sources shall not exceed Rs. 2,00,000/-(Rs. Two Lakh Only). The income certificate issued by the competent authority shall be furnished by the candidate.
#Required Documents:
1. Educational Documents of students,
2. Student's Bank account number and IFSC code of the bank branch,
3. Aadhaar Number of the Student,
4. If an Aadhaar is not available, then a Bonafide student certificate from Institute / School,
5. Aadhaar Enrolment ID and Scanned copy of Bank passbook.
How to Online Apply for Scholarship for Goa Polytechnic Students 2022-23
Follow the below steps to Online Apply for a Scholarship:
Step 1: Visit the official www.scholarships.gov.in website of NSP (National Scholarship Portal).
Step 2: Before registering, make sure your institution is registered on the portal by clicking on the ‘Search for Institute’ button.
Step 3: In case your institution is not registered, please ask your institution to register on the portal first.
Step 4: Click on the ‘New Registration’ button.
Step 5: Read all the registration guidelines carefully and click on ‘Continue....’ to proceed.
Step 6: Fill in all the mandatory fields which are marked with an asterisk ‘*’, and click on the ‘Register’ button.
Step 7: Upon successful registration, an application ID and password will be delivered to your registered mobile number.
Step 8: Make a login using the application ID and password received.
Step 9: You will be required to verify the OTP received on your registered mobile number after which you have to change your password at your convenience.
Step 10: After changing the password, a user dashboard will open. Click on ‘Application Form’ to start filling the application.
Step 11: Fill in all the details in the application form and upload all the required documents as specified.
Step 12: Finally, submit the application by clicking on the ‘Final Submit’ button.
Alert: Any detail entered in the scholarship form cannot be edited after the final submission. Thus, you must make sure that you enter the correct information in the application form.
