Assam Polytechnic Admission Test (PAT) 2022 Online Apply
Director of Technical Education (DTE), Assam has released an educational notice for the Assam Polytechnic Admission Test 2022 online registration date and date of examination. Polytechnic Admission Test (PAT) is conducted in offline mode by the DTE, Assam.
Director of Technical Education (DTE) Assam are invited online applications for registration to appear in the Polytechnic Admission Test (PAT) 2022 for admission into Diploma Courses in State Government Polytechnic of Assam for the session 2022-23.
Eligibility for Assam PAT Polytechnic Entrance Exam 2022:
Candidate must pass the HSLC or its equivalent examination in a single sitting with Mathematics and Science as compulsory subjects. Candidates also must have passed individually in both theory and practical examinations in Mathematics and Science. Mathematics and Science as a compulsory subjects for PAT 2022 with -
40% marks in Mathematics and Science General candidates.
35% marks in Mathematics and Science SC candidates.
33% marks in Mathematics and Science for ST Candidates.
Assam PAT 2022 Entrance Exam Pattern:
(a) Admission test will be held in all the Polytechnics of Assam on the subject of Science and Mathematics.
(b) There will be one question paper on Science and Mathematics of 100 marks of 2 hours duration. The question paper will be of the H.S.L.C. level (class 10th) standard.
(c) The questions will be of objective type having multiple choices.

(a) Online form fill-up starts on: 1st May 2022
(b) Online form fill up closed on: 10th June 2022
(c) Issue of online admit card: Will be declared later on.
(d) Date of admission test for PAT-2022: Tentatively 24th July 2022
How to Online apply for Assam PAT-2022
Candidates are to apply online by opening the www.dte.assam.gov.in and clicking on "Online Application for PAT-2022". The online application portal will open from 1st May 2022 to 10th June 2022. Follow the below steps to online apply for Assam polytechnic entrance exam 2022:
Step 1: Go to DTE Assam Official website www.dte.assam.gov.in
Step 2: Click on "Online Application for PAT-2022"
Step 3: A new webpage will be open and Click on "Click Here to Apply"
Step 4: Fill up the Application form properly. It is mandatory to fill all the fields.
Step 5: Upload your photograph & scanned signature and save the Application form by clicking the "Submit" button.
Step 6: Once the Application form is saved, a unique application number will be generated for you which will be active throughout your admission process.
Step 7: Read the instructions carefully and click on "Next" to continue, the next step of the application process shall take you to the Payment Portal of State Bank Collect.
Step 8: Select Payment Category "PAT - 2022" and in the next step you will be asked to enter your:
(i) Application number
(ii) Name of Applicant
(iii) Date of Birth
(iv) Centre of Examination
(v) Category
(vi) Contact number
(vii) Whether Differently-abled
(viii) Belongs to Tea Garden/Ex.TGL Community
(ix) Belongs to Moran Community
(x) Belongs to Tai Ahom Community
(xi) Belongs to Koch Rajbhongsi Community
(xii) Belongs to Chutia Community
Step 9: Payment Process: There are two modes of payment: ONLINE and OFFLINE
(i) Online Payments can be made by Net Banking/ Debit Card / Credit Cards.
(ii) Offline payments can be made at any branch of State Bank of India by printing the generated Bank Challan and depositing the fee amount at any nearby SBI Branch.
Retain Printouts of the receipt generated by State Bank Collect, for future reference. The "State Bank Collect" step is the last step of the application and is required to be completed for a successful application process.

(ii) Payments made/received shall be reflected and updated in the applicant login after receiving payment confirmation from Bank usually within 5-7 days.
No Application (hard-copy) needs to be physically submitted to the Directorate of Technical Education, Assam.
Candidates who have successfully completed the above steps can check their status at any time by using the Applicant Login area.

On the next page, click on “Applicant Login” situated in the top Menu bar, and an Applicant Login Screen will appear. Sign in to your account using your ‘Application Number’ & your ‘Date of Birth’. to authenticate yourself.
