Eligibility Criteria of BCPL Apprentice Recruitment
Age Limit:
Not less than 18 years and the upper age limit is 28 years as of 31.1.2024. The upper age limit
is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST candidates, 3 years for OBC candidates, and 10 years for Persons
with Disability.
Reservation:
The provisions of Govt. directives for the engagement of Apprentices in the SC/ST/OBC/PWD
Category will be applicable.
Duration:
Duration for engagement of apprentices is for one year only
Note: Candidates who have
passed out in the years 2019,
2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023
are eligible to apply for the
aforesaid post. However, an Engineering graduate or
diploma holder who had
already undergone training
or had job experience for one year or more
after acquiring the required
qualifications, shall not be
eligible for being engaged as
an Apprentice under the
Act.
Selection Process of BCPL Apprentice Recruitment
Applications received online will be shortlisted based on eligibility criteria. Selection shall be
based on merit as per mark secured in the degree/ diploma course as mentioned against each
Apprentice post. The list of shortlisted candidates will be published on the BCPL website
https://bcplonline.co.in/
How to Apply for BCPL Apprentice 2024
Interested candidates meeting the prescribed eligibility criteria may apply through the “career
section” of the BCPL website www.bcplonline.co.in.
The BCPL Apprentice Apply 2024 online link will be made available from
04.01.2024. The closing date for the online submission of the application is
25.01.2024. Candidates willing to apply for more than one post need to submit a separate
application for each post.
Before registration, the candidate must ensure the following:
i. Candidates need to register themselves with the Board of Practical Training (BOPT),
through online enrolment at the NATS (National Apprenticeship Training Scheme)
portal.
For NATS registration Log in to www.mhrdnats.gov.in for Technical disciplines and https://portalbopter.com/ for Non-technical/ non-engineering disciplines. Please note that without a valid NATS registration number, your application will not be accepted and will be canceled right away.
ii. Valid e-mail ID should remain valid for at least one year. No change in the e-mail
ID will be allowed once entered.
iii. Candidates should have the latest passport size photograph as well as a photograph of their signature in digital form (.jpg or .jpeg only of less than 500 kb size) for uploading
with the application form.
iv. Candidates are advised to read carefully the instructions for online submission of
applications.
v. While filling out the online application the candidates must carefully follow all
the steps.
vi. No Application Fee is required.
